Chief Executive Officer
Rick de Blaby brings a wealth of experience and a passion for transforming urban living. Having joined Get Living as Executive Vice Chairman in 2017, Rick was appointed CEO in 2019 and his strategic vision has been instrumental in driving our growth across the UK.
With a 40-year track record in real estate development and investment, Rick’s expertise lies in creating and building platforms and portfolios that deliver sustainable investor performance. His experience spans both residential and commercial property as the former CEO of United House Group and MEPC. Under Rick’s leadership, Get Living continues to push boundaries and shape the future of city living.
Chief Financial Officer
As Get Living’s Chief Financial Officer since 2022, Dan Greenslade leads the financial management, reporting and debt strategy for the company. With over 20 years of finance experience, Dan has a proven track record of building robust finance operations to support companies during periods of growth.
Prior to joining Get Living, Dan served as Director of Group Finance at Logicor, a prominent European owner and manager of logistics real estate, where he worked for over five years. Before his tenure at Logicor, Dan spent more than four years at Quintain. He began his career as a Chartered Accountant at PwC.
Chair
Jeremy Helsby, our Chair, brings strategic advice, guidance and support to drive Get Living’s shareholder performance and reputation.
With a 40-year tenure at Savills, including eleven years as Chief Executive, Jeremy has deep real estate and operational expertise. Having retired in 2019, Jeremy now lends his vast knowledge to propel Get Living forward.
Non-executive Director
Lee is a Vice President of Investments at Oxford Properties’ (Oxford) European Investment Team, working on the origination and execution of European equity and credit investments. Lee’s primary focus is on UK opportunities, most recently in the multi-family and single-family residential sector including Oxford’s investment in Get Living.
Lee joined Oxford in 2013, originally in the Corporate Finance team, and previously led the sourcing of debt financing for all European investments as well as the formation of Oxford’s European credit investment strategy. Lee attended the University of Warwick and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Non-executive Director
Mathieu leads the European Property team and strategy at Aware Super. He is a seasoned investment director and experienced board member, having been active in direct and indirect real estate for over 20 years. Before joining Aware Super UK he was the Head of Sustainability & Impact Investing at PATRIZIA, responsible for driving its Sustainability agenda as well as growing its assets under management in Impact Investing.
Previously Mathieu was a Senior Director with PGGM, a top 10 European institutional manager with over €200 billion in assets, where he was responsible for over €2 billion of new investments in the UK and Europe.
Until recently Mathieu served on the Board of the GRESB Foundation, after having served as Non-Executive Director on the Board of GRESB. Previously he was the co-chair of the ULI Europe Sustainability Product Council, a former member of the Advisory Board of ULI’s Centre for Sustainability and Economic Performance and he was a member of the CRREM Global Scientific & Investors Committee. He was also Chair of the INREV Sustainability Committee and past member of the INREV Investor Advisory Council.
Non-executive Director
Rafael Torres Villalba is a Senior Portfolio Manager at APG Asset Management, focusing on APG’s European residential investment. APG is the pension fund manager for the Dutch civil service pension fund ABP.
Rafael has been working for APG’s real estate group for over 20 years, working on both Asian and European real estate. After heading the European real estate team for almost 15 years, Rafael has taken responsibility for some of the residential investments in APG’s portfolio. His skillset entails both transactional as well as portfolio management skills. Rafael is a board member of the Spanish PRS Socimi Vivenio and Oslo based shopping centre company Steen & Strom.
Non-executive Director
Stephen Murphy is currently Chairman at London & Capital/Waverton Group, Elder Technologies and F1 Arcade. He is also a Director at Personalised Diagnostics Ltd and a Strategic Advisor at Get Living plc.
Previously, Stephen was Group CEO of Virgin Group from 2005-2011, where he succeeded Sir Richard Branson in the role. Since 2012 Stephen has pursued a plural NED career having previously chaired Jumeirah Hotels, OVO Energy, Byron Restaurants, Wyevale Garden Centres and The Learning Clinic.
Stephen qualified as an accountant and has held various CFO roles across a number of industries prior to his move to executive leadership.
